Surprise!

We took the girls on a surprise trip to Cape Cod yesterday for an overnight!
Success. They were surprised and VERY excited.

Here we are at Sandy Neck Beach in Barnstable, our first stop.

We collected a lot of beautiful rocks here.

The Hyannis Travel Inn has an indoor pool!
This was of course our first order of business upon arrival at our hotel.
Spent a couple of hours here before dinner and
returned the next morning for more pool fun before checkout.

We had to share a bed, 

and we went out to eat!


Today for "lunch" in Harwich 

Meredith had chocolate chip pancakes, and Catherine even found a chocolate peanut butter Belgian waffle on the menu.

Yummy!


Did we mention the indoor pool?

We also did some hiking behind the Cape Cod Museum of Natural History in Brewster.

It was gorgeous!

Also, the hotel has an indoor pool!!

We had a great time.
